      Within the National Science Education Standards, there are eight categories of content standards that outline what students should know, understand, and be able to do in natural science.

      The Content Standards provide the basis for developing the organization, design and content of the Schlessinger Science Library. To view a table that correlates the content standards with each of the video series click below.

    • Correlations to State and Regional Curricular Standards

      You can view a variety of documents showing how Schlessinger Science Library titles correlate to state and regional standards. The correlation documents are easily viewed and downloaded using Adobe Acrobat’s PDF format.

      How does it work? There are 2 ways

      1. Start with a particular video or video series:
        • First, click on the correlation link from the product description page
        • Then select from the list of various state and regional standards
        • Finally, view on screen or print the documents to see how the Schlessinger Science Library title correlates to your selected curriculum
      2. Start with a specific state or regional standard:
        • First, view the list of Curricular Standards by State and Region (click here to view)
        • Then select that Schlessinger Science Library titles only button
        • Then click on the specific standards link to obtain a list of all titles that correlate to your selected curriculum
        • From the list, view the curriculum correlation documents for the specific title by clicking on the link, or obtain more information about the program by clicking on the title link.
