This award-winning documentary presents first-hand accounts of the horrors of the Holocaust by using the diaries of young people who witnessed the tragic events. The program presents photos and drawings from diaries, along with archival footage of the remnants of a Jewish ghetto and diary excerpts read by Elijah Wood, Amber Tamblyn, Joaquin Phoenix, Ryan Gosling, Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson and Brittany Murphy. Featuring an introduction by Zach Braff, the film includes narration by John Norris and music by Moby. As seen on MTV, the film is adapted from the the book Salvaged Pages: Young Writers' Diaries of the Holocaust.
