In the story, Big Bear, Rabbit and their animal friends learn that creating a newspaper involves many tasks as they work to publish their own newspaper, "The Furry News." Also in this episode, host LeVar Burton visits with cartoonist Ray Billingsley, who talks about his nationally distributed comic strip Curtis, and viewers meet the staff of a high school newspaper as they work to put together the latest edition.
