 In How A Book Is Made, students will meet popular children's author Liz Rosenberg and learn about the entire publishing process from the conception of an author's idea for a book right up to the book's sale. Following our author through the various stages of the creative process -- prewriting, drafting, revising and collaborating with an illustrator -- students will get a glimpse of the writer's mind at work. Students will also visit a variety of other people who play important roles in bringing children's books to the public, including literary agents, editors and printers. How A Book Is Made gives students a rare and fascinating behind-the-scenes look at children's book publishing. Part of the multivolume Reading for Children DVD Series.
