This interactive storybook includes iconographic presentations of four of Aesop's classic fables: The Boy Who Cried Wolf, The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, The Lion and the Mouse, and The Tortoise and the Hare. Designed to help children learn how to read, each story is presented in three different modes: "reading room" mode with storyteller, a "read together" mode and a "picture book" mode for independent reading. The "reading room" mode introduces children to the basic aspects of reading (story, words and picture), while the "read together" mode helps children identify words with their corresponding sounds, and the "picture book" mode allows children to take the first steps of reading on their own.
