For sale in U.S. only-- Welcome to Belgium! In this program, students will start their trip in Binche to visit the International Carnival and Mask Museum before traveling to Linkebeek to hunt for treasures at an outdoor market. Next, it's off to Brugge for a guided tour through the city's canals. Brussels, the capital city, awaits them, and students will learn about "Mini-Europe," touch the wishing stone and marvel at the colorful Comic Strip Museum. Throughout the program, students will learn a little about the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of Belgium, in addition to discovering some of Belgians' favorite snacks, like waffles, french fries and chocolate. Students will round out their trip by visiting the battlefield at Waterloo and taking a sailing lesson. Part of the Countries Around the World Series. A teacher's guide for the series is included and available online. Title-specific guides are available online.
