K-Gr 4-A fascinating parade of fish from seahorses to sharks and from eels to clownfish hold youngsters' interest from start to finish. The photography is excellent, and this professional production does justice to the mostly saltwater fish that are showcased. Alternating live and animated frames, the video features a youthful female narrator. They all are aquatic, cold-blooded, and vertebrates, they breathe through gills, and have fins and scales. These terms are well-explained and demonstrated. Many unique fish are shown such as flying fish, fish that produce protective poisons, and fish that carry their unhatched eggs in their mouths.
