 Live in three…two…one! Join our young radio personalities as they prepare for and broadcast this edition of Cover 2 Cover, which features strategies for reading aloud. In this program, the staff at WORD explores the secrets of great read-aloud readers and provides practical strategies for improving read-aloud skills, including choosing just the right book, understanding your purpose and audience, and practicing with a partner. The radio jocks both explain and demonstrate the role of punctuation in reading aloud, including pausing, stopping and using cues from punctuation like quotation marks and exclamation points to infuse reading aloud with excitement and expression.
