In Algebra for Students, students will learn about the power of algebra as a tool for representing, analyzing and generalizing situations, and will explore several functions, including linear, quadratic and exponential. Real-world applications of algebra are shown in multiple forms through tables, graphs and equations, and common errors and misconceptions are highlighted. Students will also learn how to translate verbal expressions to algebraic expressions while considering the reasonableness of solutions within the context of the situation.
