PRODUCT SUMMARY


A brave mouse with big dreams sets out to rescue an endangered princess and save an entire kingdom from darkness in this animated film, based on the book by Kate DiCamillo and featuring the voices of Matthew Broderick and Dustin Hoffman. After falling for Princess Pea, young Despereaux the Mouse finds himself banished by his own father to the rat-filled dungeon for un-mouse-like behavior. Meanwhile in the castle, a light-loving rat named Roscuro searches for a way out of the darkness, and a slow-witted servant girl named Mig dreams of becoming a princess. The three eventually come together to save the kidnapped Princess Pea in this quirky and charming fairy tale. The film also features the voices of Emma Watson, Tracey Ullman, Kevin Kline, William H. Macy, and Stanley Tucci.
