Robert Loggia, Craig T. Nelson and John Amos star in this drama. A budding inventor, Z.T., is anxious to graduate from high school and dreams of leaving his sleepy hometown. Z.T.'s ambitions get a reality check when he meets Zack (Loggia), a 68-year-old drunk who claims to be the boy's older self. Zack attempts to avert a mistake that he claims sent him on a downward spiral, but he can't recall the details. An alliance is formed between Z.T. and Zack as they try to piece together the older man's memory. Meanwhile, the teen faces pressure from his baseball coach (Amos) and finds a new love in Delena (Emilie Jacobs). Zack's visit takes on a new meaning after a confession from Z.T.'s father, and he risks everything to save his past and his future.
