This live-action biography discusses the work of William Shakespeare. Some of his earliest plays included the three parts of Henry VI, The Two Gentleman of Verona and Titus Andronicus. In 1594, Shakespeare joined others in forming a new theater company, and for almost 20 years, he produced on average two plays a year. Some of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies were written in the early 1600s, including Hamlet, Othello, King Lear and Macbeth. |
