This series is designed to help students learn about -- and find interest in -- world geography. Within each program, living images of world cultures and detailed maps combine with fun, factual information on the people, cultures, traditions, geography, contrasting environments, economics, international contributions and environmental issues to highlight interesting aspects about countries across the globe. The script and narrators for each program reflect indigenous cultures, occupations and locales, yet they also use language appropriate for North American classrooms. Each program includes a teacher's guide.
