PRODUCT SUMMARY

For sale in U.S. only-- Welcome to South Africa! In this program, students begin their journey by taking a driving tour through Kruger National Park and catching a glimpse of the exotic wildlife. Then, it's off to Cape Town to visit the natural history museum, the aquarium and the District Six Museum, which commemorates the displacement of black South Africans. Throughout the program, students will learn some of the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of South Africa, including the country's struggle to overcome apartheid. Students will travel to a protea flower farm before getting up close and personal with some big cats at a cheetah breeding center. Part of the Countries Around the World Series. A teacher's guide for the series is included and available online. Title-specific guides are available online.
