While there, they will watch some surfers in action, shop at the craftsmen's market and witness traditional dances representing the three geographic regions of the country. Throughout the program, students will learn about some of the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of Peru, in addition to learning how to make ceviche -- raw fish marinated in lime juice. Yum! Before this journey ends, students will see the presidential palace and discover the different animal wildlife found in Peru on a visit to the Lima Zoo.
