PRODUCT SUMMARY

For sale in U.S. only-- Welcome to Germany! In this program, students will travel to the capital city of Berlin and see some of its famous sights: the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Wall, among others. Students will operate a printing press in the German Museum of Technology and play a harpsichord in the Museum of Musical Instruments. Throughout the program, students will learn about some of the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of Germany, including how important the automobile industry is to Germany's economy. Before the journey ends, students will wander the halls of the Sanssouci Palace, attend Easter service at the Berlin Cathedral and shop for sweets in a store with replicas of famous German buildings made out of chocolate! Part of the Countries Around the World Series. A teacher's guide for the series is included and available online. Title-specific guides are available online.
