PRODUCT SUMMARY

For sale in U.S. only-- Welcome to the Czech Republic! In this program, students will start their journey in the city of Trinec for some sightseeing before taking a bike ride out to the countryside and cruising along the border that the country shares with Slovakia. Next, it's off the capital city of Prague to climb the tower on Petrin Hill and see the Orloj, also known as the Prague Astronomical Clock. Throughout the program, students will learn about some of the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of the Czech Republic, including how the country was once a member of the Soviet Union. Before their journey ends, students will watch an impromptu puppet show and listen to a traditional Slavic folksong. Part of the Countries Around the World Series. A teacher's guide for the series is included and available online. Title-specific guides are available online.
