PRODUCT SUMMARY

For sale in U.S. only-- Welcome to Bolivia! In this program, students will begin their travels in the city of La Paz, one of the country's two capitals. Here, they will see the Parliament Building, walk through the colonial district, look around the mysterious Witches Market and visit a fortune teller. Throughout the program, students will learn a little about the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of Bolivia, including a trip to Andes Street, where kids rent colorful costumes to celebrate the end of the school year! Students will hike through Moon Canyon on their way to the La Paz Zoo, where they will meet llamas, vicunas, toucans, condors and tapirs. The journey will close with a jaunt through the city of Copacabana on the way to Lake Titicaca, where students will witness an ancient Incan ritual. ¡Buen viaje! Part of the Countries Around the World Series. A teacher's guide for the series is included and available online. Title-specific guides are available online.
