Nicolas Cage stars as a treasure hunter in search of a mythical war chest hidden by America's Founding Fathers in this live-action adventure from producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Jon Turteltaub. Since he was a boy, Benjamin Franklin Gates has been trying to decipher an ancient riddle leading to the legendary Knights Templar Treasure. Now in a race against time with a ruthless enemy, Gates must steal the Declaration of Independence, or let it be stolen and alllow a key clue to the mystery fall into dangerous hands.
