 | Planets & The Solar System |
| |
| |
Throughout history, people believed that the sun, the planets and a lot of the stars revolved around Earth. Of course, it is now known that Earth is one of nine planets, along with comets and asteroids, that revolves around the sun -- the center of our solar system. Students will take a close-up look at each of the planets and learn how the system works. Includes a hands-on activity ideal for science fair project ideas. One of nine volumes in the Space Science in Action Video Series in the Schlessinger Science Library. Part of the Schlessinger Science Library in Action Collection. This title correlates to the National Science Education Standards for Earth & Space Science -- structure of Earth's system, Earth's history and Earth in the solar system. This program includes a Teacher's Guide. |
Endorsed by the National Association of Geoscience Teachers. "The targeted age groups will stay on task while watching this fun and fact-filled production…This is an excellent video for school science curriculums as well as for public libraries." - School Library Journal
