PRODUCT SUMMARY

Meet Alfred Bulltop Stormalong, better known as Old Stomalong. Born in the briny waters of Cape Cod, he is a sea dog at heart. His enormous size and stature isolates and saddens Stormy, but doesn't stop him from proving himself as a first-rate shipboard lookout and navigator. With quick thinking and seafaring savvy, Stormy singlehandedly saves his crewmates from the clutches of a giant octopus, guides ships to safety in tumultuous weather and once, when in a jam, inadvertently creates the famed White Cliffs of Dover. But Stormy's strength, determination and courage truly shine when he challenges a steam ship to a race and, against all odds, emerges victorious! Part of the multivolume Greatest American Tall Tales & Legends Video Series. A Teacher's Guide is included and available online.
