 Live in three…two…one! Join our young radio personalities as they prepare for and broadcast this edition of Cover 2 Cover, which features strategies for identifying letters and sounds. In this program, the staff at WORD explores the alphabet, including the letters themselves and the various sounds they make: long and short, hard, soft and sometimes silent. They explain the challenging rules, including the ever-present exceptions that govern how letters and sound correspond. The radio jocks also demonstrate how to blend sounds together to create words and uncover a variety of letter and sound patterns that help students unlock the secrets of pronunciation.
