PRODUCT SUMMARY

Henry Ian Cusick and Francis O'Connor star in this drama about the professional and personal crises that Charles Darwin faced one year before publishing On the Origin of Species. First, Darwin must protect his work from being scooped by Alfred Wallace. Then, one of his children falls ill with diphtheria, while the other child suffers from scarlet fever. His wife, Emma, helps him get through the difficult times, although his work challenges her Christian beliefs.
