PRODUCT SUMMARY

What time is it? On a clock or a calendar, time measures how long something lasts. In Telling Time, kids measure time in seconds, minutes and hours, and order events using words like before and after. Using analog and digital clocks, kids practice telling time from the hour down to the exact minute. Concepts of A.M. and P.M., clockwise motion and time estimation are emphasized. Students will also learn how to measure longer periods of time -- days, weeks, months and years -- using a calendar. From fitting in a movie before soccer practice to getting to school, time is the mathematical key to planning your day! Part of the multivolume Math for Children DVD Series. A teacher's guide is available online.
