Teachers can bring game-show excitement to daily lessons and activities with this motivating classroom gaming system. With two play modes -- "Quiz Show Mode" and "Wheel of Fortune Mode" -- Eggspert can be used for math drills, spelling bees, history and science curriculum reviews, readiness activities and much more.
In "Quiz Show Mode," each of the Eggspert's flashing, beeping eggs connects to an answer button held by a student. After the teacher asks a question, the first student to press their answer button will light up the corresponding egg on Eggspert. That student will then have the chance to give the correct answer and win points. In "Wheel of Fortune Mode," the teacher presses the control button to start Eggspert's spin cycle. The eggs will light in sequence, first rapidly, and then will slow down gradually until only one egg remains lit. The student or team with the corresponding answer button then has the opportunity to answer the question and win points. When using either mode, teachers can use the game's countdown timer to select answer times from 5 to 30 seconds, as well as use the "Tone or Voice selector" to choose between spoken phrases, such as "time's up," and beeps and rings.
Purchase includes the Eggspert gaming system, six student answer buttons with 10' buzzer cords and a teacher control button. The program also includes a guide filled with question ideas to use with Eggspert, as well as ideas for using the gaming system to enhance lessons, manage classroom activities and more.
