KIDS FIRST!®, a project of Coalition for Quality Children's Media, evaluates and rates children's media, videotapes, CD-ROMs, DVDs, audiobooks and television, using a highly acclaimed method that has been praised by parents and educators alike. It utilizes professionally designed criteria and evaluation tools, and engages a volunteer jury comprised of child development professionals, teachers, parents and CHILDREN of diverse geographic, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
